WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY 2026: MENTAL HEALTH IS A UNIVERSAL HUMAN RIGHT

Today, we joined the global community in commemorating World Mental Health Day, reaffirming the importance of mental health, emotional well-being, and access to quality mental health support for everyone.

At Youth Awake for Better Society (YABS), we recognize that mental health is an essential part of overall health and well-being. We believe that everyone deserves to be heard, supported, and treated with dignity, regardless of their circumstances or background.

Our participation in today's activities reinforces our commitment to promoting mental health awareness, challenging stigma and discrimination, and encouraging open conversations about mental health within our communities. We recognize the importance of creating safe and inclusive spaces where young people and vulnerable populations can seek support without fear of judgment.

Let us break the silence, challenge the stigma, and build communities where mental health matters.

Remember: It is okay not to be okay. Seeking help is a sign of strength, and no one should have to navigate their mental health challenges alone.
